JrAHA founded JANUARY 27, 2006 as a Texas Non--Profit Corporation and received on March 30, 2006 its 501 (c) (3) exemption from the IRS.   The Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 56-2556458.  The organization is treated as a public charity for educational purposes.

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts issued the Texas Taxpayer Number 15625564586 to the organization as an exempt corporation from Franchise tax and Sales & Use tax.

A Governing Board provides strategic planning, operational  planning  and oversight .  An Executive Director serves as the Chief Executive Officer and is charged with carrying out the mission in accordance to the Governing Board's directives.    The Leadership Council provides additional management and talent and participates in program services in key roles.  The Honorary Advisory Board is a resource of experience leaders that consult with the Governing Board and Executive Director as called upon.

Volunteers serve as the working element for the mission and program services.  Volunteers are made up of students and adults.   Many volunteers are distinguished by their specific skills and expertise, i.e. fishing, archery, shooting sports and hunting.     Others participate to support the mission in varied areas, i.e. youth chaperones, fundraising, special events, grant writing & reporting and accounting.

The organization's operational format is based upon well established collaberative partnerships that provide a strong program services platform and accelerated outreach process.
