As a 501(c) (3) charity for educational purposes, JrAHA works with local & state foundations to receive support for its mission and outreach programs through grants. Grants made to the JrAHA support Angling, Archery, Shooting Sports and Hunter Education programs.
"Connecting Children to Nature via fishing and hunting" is the key factor in our grant applications. Our focus groups are "under privileged" children, girls, minorities and "at risk" youth.
The most significant opportunity in size for these issues in the State of Texas is in Harris County and specifically urban inner-city Houston where we primarily operate.
